Happy Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!

I thought I would just do a quick post since Tuesday’s are busy for me!

1. I miss my momma, that’s me and her in the photo. Since I am 4 hours away I miss out on our girl time. I can’t wait to be home for the holidays so I can enjoy some quality time with the strongest women I know!! (I love my pops too…and am missing him as well.)

2. Last week I ran my first long run post-injury, 5.5 miles. It was successful and painfree!!!

3.Today I ran my first speed workout since my post-injury return to running. It was a 5k tempo run. I ran it in 24:30. Not my fastest, but happy with it!

4. As of today I have officially been back to running for a whole month now!

5. Saturday I will be running my first road race in a few years and my first race since outdoor track this past April. (It’s a 5k)!

6. I am officially signed up for the GO! St. Louis Marathon in April and will be running for Team NCCS (National Children’s Cancer Society).

7. I have to solicit money from you now..sorry. As a runner for Team NCCS I am collecting donations. I want to raise at least $500.00. Any donation is a HUGE help. Please and thank you.
